We at Houlders believe safety is number one and are very committed to the safety of all employees.
The goals of our safety program are met from strong leadership by employees, contractors, sub contractors and management.
Houlders Construction received an award from OH&S and the Alberta Government in 2006 for exceptional performance in workplace health and safety. In order to get this award Houlders had to meet the following criteria:

 

• A current certificate of recognition (COR) or a partner in good standing under the partnership in health and safety program

 

• 60 consecutive person years with no disabling injuries in the most recent years
